    Just purchased Vizio E500I-B1 and Vizo all-in one TV camera. What do I need to purchase to make skype work on this TV??? Do I need a Blue Ray player too? I am having problems as the tv doesnt seem to recognize the tv camera, it doesnt show up in the devices list nor under multimedia widget.

    Defective product and ineffective customer service. Service Request # RC1671843 4/12/2016
    Overview: Semiretired couple installing TV in guest bedroom that is also used as occasional office. TV is mounted on a wall that is common to my wife’s full time office.
    History: New D43-C1 purchased on line via Walmart 11/24/2015 and delivered several days later. TV installed in a small guest bedroom, on a wall that is shared with my wife’s office. Since this is a small room, and on a shared wall, the TV sound volume is low. Often the numeric on screen display shows TV volume between 8 and 15. Distortion is always heard at these low volume levels.
    A Vizio 2.1 sound bar was purchased and installed in the hope that that the distortion would not be heard at these low TV audio output levels. The audio output of the sound bar appears to be nonlinear with low sound input levels, but starts to come alive as TV input signal levels of 25-30 are reeached. The sound bar was not a solution.
    Tech support: Contacted Vizio customer service who arranged a replacement for this TV. The replacement had the same symptom of distorted audio at low volume levels. The second call to Support led to the creation of an onsite technician replacing the Power supply (PSU board) and the video/ audio processing board (A/V board) and speaker. The technician found that the distorted audio was still heard.
    Vizio support only offered to send another replacement TV. Adding insult to injury, all TVs were on sale when I made the purchase, those discounts have ended and I will have to spend $50.00 more for a replacement. My experience with Visio support is that no one there cares.
    Resolution: Vizio would not replace the TV with a model that has non-distorted sound. Vizio decided to refund my purchase cost instead of sending a TV of equal or greater value that has good audio at low audio levels. I offered to pay the difference in value, but Vizio said no. I asked for an escalation but reached a dead end.
    As of today: I purchased another TV last weekend with my own money. I am still waiting to be repaid for my original purchase of the D43 in November 2015.
    I relied upon the assurances of Vizio that I would receive a full repayment for my purchase. To this date I have not. I have relied upon what you/ your agents have told me, to my financial determent.
    I demand to be made whole. Time is of the essence in this matter.
    Time to start warning others about Vizio and Vizio support.
